ReachTop supplied 18 detachable container houses for a small hotel accommodation project in the Philippines. All 18 units were packed and transported in two 40HQ containers, helping the client reduce international shipping costs while keeping the project flexible for local installation.
In addition to the container house structures, ReachTop also supplied beds, complete bathroom facilities and air-conditioning units. This allowed the client to purchase the main building system and supporting interior equipment from one supplier.
Two Room Layouts for Different Accommodation Needs
The project mainly used two room layouts.
The first layout included two beds and one private bathroom. This configuration was designed for hotel guests who required more privacy and a self-contained living space.
The second layout included four bunk beds, providing accommodation for up to eight people in one room. This option offered a higher occupancy capacity and was suitable for group accommodation or staff housing.
By combining these two layouts, the client was able to serve different types of guests within the same project.
Local Installation in the Philippines
The Philippines has many experienced container house installation teams. For this reason, the client selected a practical cooperation model:
- ReachTop manufactured and supplied the detachable container houses.
- ReachTop supplied the beds, bathrooms and air conditioners.
- A local Philippine installation team completed the on-site construction.
This approach reduced the cost of sending an overseas installation team while allowing the client to work with local workers who were already familiar with the site conditions.
Installation Support During the Project
Some difficulties occurred during the installation process.
At one stage, the client believed that several components had not been included in the shipment. After checking the packing records, installation drawings and site photos, we found that the components had not been omitted. The problem was caused by an incorrect installation sequence and the incorrect use of several parts.
ReachTop remained involved throughout the process. Our team checked the installation details, explained the correct assembly method and provided remote technical guidance to the client and the local installation team.
With cooperation between all parties, the installation problems were resolved and the small detachable container hotel project was successfully completed.
Extra Spare Parts for Overseas Projects
For overseas container house projects, small components may occasionally become damaged or lost during unloading, storage or installation.
When container loading space allows, ReachTop normally includes additional small components and spare parts with the shipment. These extra parts can help prevent project delays if a component is damaged, misplaced or needs to be replaced during installation or later use.
This does not replace correct inventory management and installation procedures, but it provides additional protection for clients completing projects far away from our factory.
A Practical Delivery Model for Small Hotel Projects
This Philippine project shows how detachable container houses can be used for small hotels, dormitories, staff accommodation and other multi-room projects.
By combining compact shipping, local installation and remote technical support from the manufacturer, clients can control project costs without losing access to professional assistance during construction.
For projects requiring multiple accommodation units, ReachTop can provide container house structures, customised room layouts, bathrooms, furniture, air-conditioning systems and supporting installation documents.
